Expertise France processes personal data only for specific purposes. To ensure greater transparency, we share a list of the purposes of the main processing operations that may concern you.

a) Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, you provide your email address. This data is collected in order to keep you informed of L’Initiative’s actions. The legal basis for processing here is the legitimate interest of Expertise France.

b) Contact form

When you complete our contact form, you provide the following information: name, last name, email address, and organization. This data is collected in order to allow contact. The legal basis for processing here is the legitimate interest of Expertise France.

2. Who has access to your data?

Your data is only accessible to Expertise France employees who are intended to have access to it as part of the accomplishment of their mission. The data collected may be communicated as necessary to third parties (partners, subcontractors, and Expertise France service providers). This information sharing is carried out only to the extent necessary for the execution of the tasks that we entrust to these third parties.

Furthermore, in order to meet legal and regulatory obligations, we may be required to communicate personal information to administrative or judicial authorities upon specific written request, motivated by the legislative texts establishing the right of communication.

3. Data transfer outside the European Union

Personal data may, during operations, be communicated to subcontractors established in a country outside the European Union. These entities carry out, on behalf of Expertise France, certain material and technical tasks essential for the processing purposes as described above. This transfer is governed by appropriate security and control measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.

In certain cases, these subcontractors may be located in countries not subject to an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission; data transfers to these subcontractors are governed by standard contracts conforming to the models developed by the European Commission.

We aim to always store your personal data in the safest and most secure manner and only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose pursued by the processing. In this perspective, Expertise France undertakes the implementation of all technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the Personal Data collected and processed and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, or communicated to non-authorized third parties, ensuring a level of security adapted to the risks linked to the processing and the nature of the personal data to be protected.

Expertise France collects only the data strictly necessary for the direct or indirect performance of the subscribed services when they require the processing of users’ personal data.

Personal Data is collected directly from you and is only used for purposes that have been brought to your attention.

Expertise France does not sell the data collected as part of its activities.

5. Your rights

You can, at any time, exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, and portability of information concerning you, as well as your rights of limitation and opposition to the processing of your data.
