The Projects Channel makes it possible to financially support development projects over a period of two to three years. Initiatives supported respond to priority issues and must be the result of multi-agency partnerships and include local partners. Complementarity with Global Fund programs; relevance and authenticity of these partnerships and ownership of the project by beneficiaries are the main criteria for selection.
PRIORITY THEMES BY CYCLE
A three-year call for proposals format has been in place since 2006. The objective is twofold: to allow tenderers organizations from eligible countries and French organizations- to better prepare their proposals and to progressively expand the 5% Initiative's project portfolio.
A CALL FOR OPERATIONAL RESEARCH
Operational research consists in collecting scientific data in the field, as close as possible to the population, which makes it possible to adjust control programmes throughout their implementation.

AFRICAN CONSTITUENCY BUREAU
