We work to strengthen the impact of Global Fund grants in partner countries. We act by providing high-level, short-term, on-demand technical assistance and by financing long-term structuring projects.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Our expert assignments aim to facilitate access to those working to combat the three pandemics to Global Fund grants and to strengthen the impact of their projects.
FUNDING PROJECTS
We funds large-scale projects that provide structure, complementing Global Fund programs, over the course of two to three years.
SUPPORT FUND FOR CSOS
SOFIA is L'Initiative dedicated fund for francophone CSOs. The aim is to support local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to promote their active participation in the fight against pandemics, strengthening of health systems (including community-based), and in the fight against gender inequalities and for human rights.
Technical Assistance
The Initiative Network mobilizes high quality expertise through partners from the public, private and non-profit sectors for our high-level technical support missions.
FUNDING DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
We fund two types of initiatives: intervention projects and operational research projects. All are awarded through a competitive mechanism of separate calls for proposals.
